Molly Flynn

Molly Flynn is in the process of completing her PhD in Slavonic Studies at the University of Cambridge. Her research tracks the development and significance of documentary theatre in twenty-first century Russia and seeks to contextualize the remarkable growth of Russian documentary theatre within the socio-political setting of the Putin years (2000-). In addition to her academic work, Molly has also studied acting in the Experimental Theatre Wing at New York University and at the St. Petersburg Theatre Arts Academy. She was a co-founder of the New York Branch of the Neo-Futurists in 2004 where she worked as a writer, director, and performer for their signature show 'Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind'. 

Molly is the co-creator of the NEDRAma project 'Lynndie Sings the Blues' and a guest dramaturg in the interdisciplinary theatre laboratory NEDRAma.
